Find Help, Find Hope!

Give Hope, Help and Recovery Towards Mental Health On Give Miami Day

What is Give Miami Day?

Give Miami Day is one of the biggest annual giving events in the United States. Organized by The Miami Foundation, this year the online only fundraiser will take place for 24 hours on November 16th.  Give Miami Day 2016 made history by raising $9.1 million for 660+ local nonprofits from more than 19,000 donors spanning the city, nation and globe.

On Give Miami Day, anyone can make a philanthropic impact by collectively supporting our area nonprofit organizations. The 24-hour giving event begins at 12:00 a.m. on November 16th and ends at 12:00 a.m. on November 17, 2017.

Throughout the day, individuals may view online profiles of hundreds of nonprofit organizations serving Miami-Dade County and make a charitable gift using credit or debit cards directly on givemiamiday.org. The Miami Foundation and its partners will maximize the community’s generosity by making a bonus gift for every donation between $25 and $10,000 received on November 16th through givemiamiday.org.

Why donate to NAMI Miami Dade On Give Miami Day?

We are the local branch of the National Alliance of Mental Illness, the biggest national grassroots organization that advocates for the rights of people and families living with mental health challenges. We provide education, support and advocacy to Miami Dade residents struggling with mental illness.

On top of the bonus gifts given by The Miami Foundation, we have secure an anonymous donor that will match your Give Miami Day donation to NAMI Miami Dade.

Your $25 donation gives 5 people access to a mental health support group.

Your $50 contribution trains 1 person to lead a mental health support group.

Your $100 generous donation provides mental health training to 2 family members.

Use your debit or credit card to pledge your support here before November 16, 2o17.

On Give Miami Day Thursday November 16 go to https://givemiamiday.org/npo/nami-miami-dade or our homepage www.namiofmiami.org to make a tax deductible donation and give hope, help and recovery. You will receive a receipt on your email for your records.
