2nd Annual Reel Minds Mental Health Film Festival Presented by NAMI Miami-Dade
Presented by NAMI Miami-Dade
In advocating for the understanding of the complexity of mental illness and expelling myths, educate the public and show support for the many people affected by mental health that are working to improve their lives, NAMI Miami-Dade County proudly presents its 2nd Annual Reel Minds Mental Health Film Festival at UM’s Donna E. Shalala Student Center Grand Ballroom this coming May 13, 2017.
Films are a compelling storytelling form that connect with our deepest sensibilities. That’s why for the second consecutive year, NAMI Miami-Dade is showcasing a curated list of short films inspired by the lives of those who have been affected by mental illness. These narratives will share a range of life experiences meant to inspire, heal, and empower. RSVP ‘Yes’ today and join us at UM Shalala Center’s Grand Ballroom for an evening of insight. Together, we can spark the awareness that makes the difference in our society. Let’s stop the stigma and start the conversation.
